Too Early –Too Late

To be early
Never late
But timely
No one likes a weed
Before waking seeds
Staying until blooms have long since past
First and last memory
Breezes waft as sighs, closing doors
A gust heard like whistling cries
Echoes the joy of their good-bye

It is haibun Monday at dVerse. Exactly 44 words in a poem, excluding the title. The prompt word is early. Now I am an early bird, but there are some things you should never be too early for.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.
