Sometimes we see only ugliness
Not seeing the beauty within
Other times we see the beauty revealed
Forgetting the price of ugliness for our sin
dVersepoetspub.com prompt is to embrace something ugly and see the beauty in it. Christ took the ugliness of sin upon himself and paid the price for it so we could be beautiful in Him. Look for the image of God in everyone and you will find beauty.
love this Mary!! so love this! the ultimate sacrifice is indeed the most beautiful one, in all his glory he chose the ugliest death – that is truly something that makes me feel so undeserving

Sometimes I am really tired and feel like I’m just a lazy poet. I get very comparative, which I know is wrong. But few words can say much. Thank you for encouraging words.

Isn’t it amazing that we put a tortured body among all the gold… the beauty of this is ugly thinking about what it was.

The ugliness of people that would do such a thing is the part that is hard to get past. I like how you presented the contrasts in this. And you are NOT a lazy poet. There is lots to be said for concise poetry. 🙂
