Creator vs Creation

He won’t bring rain
But fire and winds

Messengers and ministering flames
When on this earth He enters again

A sword from His mouth
Will stake His claim

Except for praise
All tongues will cease

To the Lord of Lords
And Prince of Peace

Dversepoets.com suggested one element, one poem. Since I wrote 4 in one, I will forego the link.

Four elements of the earth – rain, wind, fire and earth.

A few Scriptures to balance my view.

Genesis 9:8-15, Psalm 45:6, 104:4 1:6-8, Romans 14:11, Revelation 19:15-16

Some may think me rogue. I’ll risk it. Not the first time in the wild.

And who doesn’t love James Taylor?

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.

Well done, Mary! A very apocalyptic take on the prompt. I thought of this song when I was trying to decide what to write! Beautiful.
