In Support of Anesthesia

A syst
Like a myst-
ery swells
A cloud
Ambiguous shroud
I take for granted until
Azure skies
Turn metallic gray
A volcanic eruption
Infectious deluge
Dis-eases my soil
In deep sleep
I remember
Covenants of old
And wake in bright sun

A poem based on Genesis 2:21, 3:15, 15:12 -18, Hebrews 13:19-21

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.

I like those last four lines: deep dreaming of the covenants of old and waking in the bright sun.

  2. Thanks Frank! God will never break His covenant!
