Hidden Propagation

Now withered stalks where blooms once sweet
The gardener snips. The season is past
Sharp eyes know which will last
A sprout anew begins to breathe

Often words may make some seethe
Budding growth not yet full grown
Like seeds in wind are loosely sown
Greedy crows cackle leave one in chagrin
Eyes that never see beneath one’s skin
Thankful roots go deeper than the bone

Thought I would try another decima.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.
