All We Don’t See

“What, is the love of God so hard that it makes you run away?”
“Oh no, it’s sooo awfully good, that I long to stay,

No one ends a game of chess
Gran masters just go mad I’m told
We reach the edge only to find
A loose fringe we will never bind

Eternity within our reach
But like the sand upon the beach
We tamp the ground with laden feet
Unknowing they are jewels our eyes don’t see
We dig and build our castles and the tide comes up
And buries them at sea

Oh that I might truly know the indelible seal
Christ’s love stamped on me
When He took my place on Calvary

The only place I was set free

Sand seen through a microscope with 300x magnification look like beautiful jewels, different sparkling colors, shapes and sizes.

I liked these lines: “Christ’s love stamped on me
When He took my place on Calvary”
