Walking With Stillness

Today began
With wind and snow
Making a fuss you know

Sensing no threat of peril
No mournful song
Neither skips of glee
Stillness penetrated me

I did what I do
No squawk
No ado
Sun now gone
I was happy all day long

dversepoets.com Monday quadrille 44 words excluding the title. Happiness (or any version thereof). It nice when happy is an emotion, but sometimes happy is just being still.

    LOVE that idea of nature making a fuss with wind and snow….kind of like a little temper tantrum?
    And oh yes….happiness can be had simply meeting the mundane day. So glad you posted!
