A Garden of Peace

Earthen pots of terra cotta
Slathered with yellow and red velvet mums
Set against a bluff autumn sky
Grace my porch every year
Summer slides away with a promise
A morning glory future and hot cocoa nights

Paint chip poetry with Linda Kruschke. The theme is future. The four words are morning glory, terra cotta, red velvet and bluff. The Angel cards (of which to choose from) are light, peace, and honesty.

Linda wants us to use all four words as colors.  I chose peace as the angel card because my summer gardening is never a peaceful endeavor. In fall I purchase, not plant. It brings so much more peace.

  1. Beautiful! Almost makes me long for autumn (which is quite the compliment because I never want summer to end).

  2. The only thing I don’t like about fall is that winter follows it.

  4. I like the imagery. 🙂
