What If

You can lavish me with amethyst of deepest purple
Feed me habernero cuisine while I wear hot pink
Ice caps are melting and you want to dance the night away
The golden hour may be closer than we think
Are we still as naïve as our first kiss
If the end is near
Spill the chamomile tea down the drain
Wake up to WHO is important
The God of ALL of creation!
Pay attention or you will pay the price!

Linking with Linda Kruschke and Paint Chip Poetry. The words are ice caps, golden hour, habernero, chamomile tea, hot pink, first kiss and amethyst. Linda wants a poem about “This is how it will all end”

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.
