Mr Sun plays peek-a-boo
Keeps his distance
Hides behind a mask of gray
Until he can’t resist us
Or does introversion
Play a part
Is he shy like me
Queries, no clear answers
Though rules like shadows can deceive
I’ll play your silly game
dversepoets.com it’s quadrille Monday. Exactly 44 word poem excluding the title. Today the word is silly and just in time! We all need some silliness and humor. “A merry heart does good like a medicine…”
Ah the peekaboo sun…..I like the use of the clouds as the mask of grey as we are walking about outside wearing our own masks. Does that make it doubly grey???? LOVE that quotation at the end: A merry heart does good like a medicine.”

Here in WA state we have sun breaks, from 2 minutes to two hours. Mr. Sun certainly can be a silly-nilly companion.
