Ninety –eight feels the same as ninety-seven
But thirty-one can turn all that rain to ice
Orange you glad you hung on to the railing
Before you stepped outside in the dark
I never saw the Red Planet
What did Mars have on its ground?
If we ever try it
I doubt an olive leaf will ever be found
Six degrees of separation
Might tell if you relate to me
But if you don’t know the Savior
You’re as far away as the nth degree
Linking this to Linda Kruschke and Paint Chip Poetry. The prompt is “six degrees of separation”. The words are red planet, orange you glad, strawberry, tornado, ice, olive branch, in the dark. The requirement is to use “in the dark” and at least two other words. Bonus points if you use “Kevin Bacon”.
Considering I know nothing about Kevin Bacon (not a movie buff), or the game I think I passed.
Love that about the nth degree!!
