Enough is Enough!

I thought a quiver was eight
I was angry I bore four
Only two survived
A ways from a tribe
Now I know I was blessed to be sure
Even with two I can’t aim
What would I do with six more
But shiver!

Linking up with dversepoets.com Mondays quadrille, a 44-word poem excluding the title. The prompt word is quiver.

I could have continued if numbers didn’t stop me.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.
