Misplaced Attentions

freckles meaning—
and broken words
send you in a frenzy
but you watch fireflies at dark
And marvel at twinkling stars.
Sunlight shatters the night
With magenta and rose
You hang on bits of dreams
Tell me…
How are they different from I?

#2 quadrille for dverse. Freckle in a 44 word poem.

That’s a fascinating perspective on freckle-ness SG. This made for engaging reading.

Love a poem that ends in a question and this one is intriguing. I especially like the line…”You hang on bits of dreams”. So glad you were inspired by “freckles” once again. Thanks for your enthusiasm!
