Unquenchable Fire

Astrologers say
I am Sagittarius
A fire that burns
Spreading itself with no invitation
But cannot be constrained
Impulsive, jovial, laughing
I love all
Curious to a fault
I will do anything to figure you out
Giving generously all I have
I love to wander and explore
Seems fitting only Jupiter
The largest planet
Can rule this unruly me
But that is what astrologers say

dVersepoetspub.com is exploring the elements you are made of.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.

So many wonders, so many possibilities to embrace, so much life to feel. So much richness looking up from our life, and finding gratitude for all we are part of. This is a wonderful poem Mary, thank you for sharing it… 🙂

Now I know YOU know a better “ruler” for you than Jupiter! Thanks for playing along though, Mary:)
