Sense(able) Ties

Precious are the friendships carved and seen in rhyme
Syllables we hear in our own perspective time
Fragrance lingers long as each memory rekindles
Scintillating flavors carrying each other to their prime

Offering this to both sites, dVersepoetspub, com and napowrimo. Write a poem in the rubai style. AABA meter. Include images that engage all five senses, inviting the reader to see, touch, hear, taste and smell. I tried.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. I currently have a poetry blog and also write on medium.com. My main focus is hope in Christ. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused.
