Letting Go

She weaved and wrapped her body around her
Unsuspecting victim and as allurement and
Pursuit made way to tensity…
SUDDEN CAPTIVITY! If one only loosened it’s grip,
The snake would have done likewise.

Freedom comes when I set free
Truth then will catch me

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. It is an interesting idea to set truth free. Usually one thinks of the truth setting us free.

  4. What I meant to convey was just thst. Truth is revealed when I free another. Maybe I should have used “save” instead of catch.

  5. setting truth free – very interesting – but we do hide truth away at times… nicely done.

I worry about snakes they can be a good or bad omen. Shedding ones skin or they can be ready to strike. I guess I am pondering.

  7. I personally abhor snakes. My husband had one before I married him (and only before). A boa constrictor….so the analogy here fit well, I think. Thanks for commenting.
