Awe in Awe

The miracle of sun and moon and stars
The magic of gravity that they don’t fall and we don’t rise

The miracle of birth
The magic of sustaining life

The miracle of tiny insects to gigantic beasts
The magic of each one’s unique world

The miracle of love and hope and faith
The magic of friendship, laughter and joy

Magic in the miracles and miracles in the magic
God loves to awe us!

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am married, and a mother of two grown children. I love Jesus and sharing my faith through written words. My poetry is on my blog and you can find some previous stories on Medium and linked-in. My focus is hope in Christ. My desire is that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired, occasionally amused, kind, and patient to my growth in Christ as He conforms me to His image.

  1. I love the magic of the wonders and mystery of life… maybe it’s good not to understand it all… we need a bit of mystery in life.

BTW, I have noted that you linkup directly to the blog instead of directly to your poem. Its much easier to find the right blog post if you link directly to the poem. /B

I like the combination of magic and miracles. Magic is too much like tricks and technique when alone, but combining it with miracles sharpens awareness of what is really going on.
