I Don’t Even Believe in Luck

I can’t ignore a penny
When I see it on the ground
I’ve tried
Closed my eyes
Even walked right by
Only to return
That stinkin’ rhyme!

Prompt: An overhead saying heard sometime in life.

  1. When I see a penny I say: “See a penny, pick it up, and all the day you’ll have a penny.” It doesn’t rhyme but at least it’s true. Unless of course you spend the penny. 😉
