Helping Your Daughter Clean Her Room.

She asks politely but her eyes beg
She is at the end of her blight
I at the beginning of mine
We are sharing a headache and nauseau
I will help her
I sit and fold her clothes
Talking the time away

She vacuums and I sit and fold clothes
She arranges and rearranges
I sit and the clothes are folded
Laughing and talking the time away

And soon it is finished to her liking

But the headache didn’t leave
– Today’s prompt…A didactic poem. Instructional and practical.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. Now it can be seen at please feel free to visit.
