Talking it Over With Me

I never saw it raining cats and dogs

Why was I told warts came from frogs

When a child I thought I was a human bean

And you think it strange I have monologues

With no one but myself and common sense

I decide what I think is false pretense

If I falter I alone will be to blame

But I’ll talk to me about it now and hence
