Friends

A million thanks is not enough

For all the times you’ve pulled me up

All the laughs and tears we’ve shared

Every silence, every prayer

When I need be turned around

Face the truth about where I’m bound

Jesus faithfully always sends

His loving heart by way of friends

And in those times I feel alone

That’s when He tells me I’m His own

Earth’s riches I may ne’er possess

But with my friends I’m ever blessed

Whether I see you often or years ago

A true friend will always make you grow

Sweet memories expand the heart

And makes more room for new friendships to start

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. Now it can be seen at purplepandasandotherphenomena.blogspot.com. please feel free to visit.

  1. I love this poem and count it an honour to be counted among your friends
