Lead Me

Take me back, I’ve strayed away

From the path that I’ve been on

Suddenly I look and I don’t belong

I was focused straight ahead

I never noticed any turn

But I don’t recognize the road I’m on

Or is it still my hand you’re holding

Are these your thoughts I sense unfolding

Am I stirring up a gift you’ve given

I tread lightly, I go softly

If I falter treat me gently

Ever all for you or not at all.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. Now it can be seen at purplepandasandotherphenomena.blogspot.com. please feel free to visit.

I wrote this last night but somehow it didn’t get posted. Had to repost it today. I didn’t miss a day.
