Very early she awoke coming out of dreamer’s mode

It took a moment to adjust to the sun coming through the icy frost on the window

Remembering back to the morning before when all her life was laid in the balance

The near accident where true intervention made this morning possible

She lay in quiet reverence and said “good morning”  with great expectation

And proceeded to pray.

This is a poem about greeting something, saying hello

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. Now it can be seen at please feel free to visit.
