Against the Grain (my friends, don’t try to understand this one)

This is gobbly-gook I say

To want to write a poem this way

I do not understand the rules

If I succumb I’d look a fool

This is gobbly-gook I mean

a facade to make them think it wise

to make up words so it will seem

There is a plan but really, a disguise

Well it would be like living a lie

This is a rebuttal toward the instructions.

About Mary (tqhousecat)

I am a wife and a mother of two grown children. Recently I have begun writing a couple of blogs. One poetry and one on hope. I only wish that whoever reads this will be blessed, inspired and occasionally amused. Soon to be added is another blog...writings on hope from a biblical perspective. Now it can be seen at purplepandasandotherphenomena.blogspot.com. please feel free to visit.
